okay, i (patty) think i have to admit it. i don't know if it's called an addiction or an obsession, but i love to bake!!! (i know, this might not be too much of a shock to some of you!) it's also not just because i like to eat baked goods, which i do, but i find it very relaxing and fun to bake them - so much so, that i've been baking almost every night! (don't worry - I take it to work, church, friends, etc, so we are always eating!) it has also been fun lately because strawberries are in season down here and i have found some delicious strawberry recipes!
this is my new favorite - Strawberry Chocolate Eclair Fantasy- you should definitely give it a try! I also tried some Strawberry Bread tonight, which was pretty yummy!
on another note - phil had his first "formal" review at school this week and it went really well. the review was very positive and he got some good feedback from his principal. he is starting to look forward to the summer break, when he won't have to brink home prep work every night and weekend!
and on a very positive note - we are headed home in 30 days! (and I only have 18 days of work left!) :)

I've almost started with the whole profit thing! A co-worker asked me to do a "dessert buffet" for her wedding - thankfully it's a small one (like 30 people) - but i've had other requests at work for people to buy them! :) but it would be more fun to do it with you!
