74 degrees. February!

Sorry it seems we have forgotten about this, but we really haven't - it's just that nothing very exciting has happened lately. But then I realized that quite a bit has happened since we posted anything last... (Thanksgiving)

We had a wonderful time in Michigan (Joey & Bethany's wedding) and Wisconsin in December! It was sooo nice to spend some time with family and friends and enjoy of the snow and cold - well, for a little while! Patty also put in some time working on mom and dad's new house. This is what it looked like when we left and we would love to see some finished pictures! (hint, hint)

Back in El Paso, things are starting to "heat up" already... we enjoyed a GORGEOUS 74 degrees today! Yes, February 11th! While that is wonderful and we are really loving the sunshine, if it continues like this, we will have completely melted by June!

Phil is still really enjoying all of his students (well, most of his students), even with all the prep time he has every night. I (Patty) recently got a job with AT & T in the accounts payable dept. I start Wednesday or Thursday, depending on the paperwork going through. It is a full-time temporary position, as we are planning to spend quite a bit of time "up-north" this summer. As far as our future plans, they are very up in the air! Please pray for us in that area!

Things at the chapel are going pretty well - most of the time... Friday night Bible study has been a huge encouragement to me and it's exciting to see the growth and desire in the young people! The language barrier is still frustrating with the older people at the chapel. Phil is picking up the Spanish much quicker than I am - I just need to be more dedicated to my Rosetta Stone!

We love and miss you all (well, if anyone even reads this!) and would welcome any visitors!!!
