Church on Thursdays

How ya doing everybody,

The church we are going to has recently moved Wednesday night to Thursday.... well not the whole night as that would take an act of congress but church from Wednesday to Thursday. At first it was no big deal but now it's becoming kind of draining.
Things are going really well here. I (Phil) love my job and Patty is working with a mission minded group called Life Challenge International. This is all mainly old news but it seems that all we do is work, church, and feed the stray brother Matthew.
The next month and a half should be crazy in a good way. Over Thanksgiving we are going to take a trip with our friends Jon and Tess to San Diego. Hopefully it will have stopped burning by then. Then my best friend Joey and his lovely lady Bethany (aka bff thief) are getting married which means a quick 24 hour drive to Michigan and a flight home while my wife stays in the upper Midwest without me. Then the first semester of school comes to an end December 21st and it's home for the holidays.
By the way I find it obnoxious that the fires in San Diego are repeatedly being compared to Katrina as they show shots of beautiful, multimillion dollar, fire insured anglo-homes while interviewing their Banana Republic clothed victims who's lives will never be the same, at least until they get their insurance check and build a bigger and better home. That however is a whole different post. Phileo out.
